so i’m not always the brightest bulb in the box

I have always admired the lithe yoga/dancer body type and longed to obtain it myself.

It has only recently occurred to me that in order to achieve this I might have to actually do some yoga.  It seems that flipping through yoga magazines and staring at my collection of dvds along with my once every three months or so practice may not be cutting it.

Of course, realizing this doesn’t actually get me off the couch and onto my mat.  Maybe breaking it down would be helpful.  Step one could be unrolling my mat and sitting on it while watching tv.  Step two, switching from Buffy dvds to yoga ones.  With this plan, I could be out of corpse pose and sitting up within weeks.

Now if I could only find a way to accelerate this process so that I could be super fit and healthy before my physical, that would be awesome.  It’s only been six years since my last check up so if I couldn’t accomplish this in that period, it’s perfectly reasonable to assume I can do this in less than a month, right?

Clearly, it was my lack of a plan that was holding me back, but now that I have each step laid out – easy peasy.

Realistic expectations; it’s a specialty of mine.
